Susana Labradors offers AKC Labrador Stud Dog Service to approved Bitches
   All of our studs here at Susana's are Registered AKC Labrador Retrievers are certified and Champions or from Champion blood lines. If you would like to use one of our Certified AKC Labrador Stud dogs please eMail, or Call us. We require you have a brucella test done on your bitch, as well as proof of her OFA certification on her hips. These boys are currently producing our beautiful Labrador puppies for sale, as well as the puppies we keep for our future breeding stock. All of our studs have had their semen tested for motility and all of our studs have produced puppies. And as you can see from our website, Susana Labradors represents the Labrador breed well.
  We chose our Labrador Studs when they are about 6 weeks of age. We keep an eye on the males as they develop and grow. We look for personality traits and watch for confirmation and body type. We look for a broad skull, square head, the blockier the better, and wide set eyes. Our studs are chosen because they represent the Labrador Breed standards as well as passing OFA, OFEL, and CERF clearances. When a Labrador Stud is full grown they should weigh from 75 pounds. We raise our studs in our house, crate train, obedience train, potty train, and keep them well-mannered. We balance their diet and exercise program to maintain top athletic condition. If you notice our boys do not show any rib, but have a pronounced waist line. We have researched that an overweight dog can create their own hip, elbow, and other joint problems.

   If you do not provide a current certificate proving your dog is free of brucella we can still breed via artificial insemination.
We do require you have your dog's progesterone tested by a qualified veterinarian. This series of tests will give us an exact breeding date based on her progesterone level.
