Susana Labradors has scoured to the country to find the best Chocolate Labradors there are. We train them here in our own training facility or, we also have outside contracted professional trainers as well. We have trained both adult and chocolate lab puppies for Bench (Show) and Field (Hunting). If you look at our Photo albums, and slide shows, we posted pictures of our founding dogs, parents, grandparents, and great grandparents of the puppies we produce today.
We are proud to have bred out the “80’s” damage from our kennel. We refer to the demand to produce Chocolate Labrador puppies during the 1980’s to 1990’s as ‘80’s” damage; when the market demanded so many chocolate lab puppies be born, that Dogs that did not represent the breed, were bred over and over. Our dogs of present day represent proper Labrador temperament, and body type, that our clients expect from the breed. We breed a few litters each year, and some go home as is at 8 weeks old, while others go home as professionally trained Chocolate Labrador Puppies.
